The project COMFORT got extended by six months. Therefore, the end of the project moved from the 31st of March 2021 to the 30th of September 2021. The extension was necessary due to the COVID-19 restrictions prohibiting COMFORT project members from visiting the LOGICDATA office rooms. Important reference measurements could not be taken in that time and servicing the data recording equipment was also not possible. This led to several outages in the data recording and consequently to gaps in the collected data.
The additional six month of project COMFORT will be used to compensate for these outages by collecting additional data. The project extension was agreed by all project members unanimously. Furthermore, budget shifts took place to concentrate resources where needed and re-purpose travel budget not being used due to COVID-19.
